Calling all Photographers ... The Genki Spark Wants YOU!
Join our team. Come photograph an incredible, dynamic art form and participate in a variety of cultural, community, and educational events. Your work is needed to tell our story. We've got cool venues in our future ... marches, road trips, rallies, festivals, etc, come join us! MINIMUM TIME COMMITMENT: 3 months
Type of projects we need help with:
Help research venues, conduct inventory, raise money, take photos, shoot videos, be a roadie, write press releases, outreach to organizations, find sponsors, staff the merchandise table, organize events, design fliers, or run errands.
If you are responsible, committed, and organized -- we could sure use your help. You determine your commitment level, and we work with you to find volunteer tasks that helps us grow and makes good use of your time. Projects are largely self-directed.
ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED TAIKO PLAYER?
GUEST ARTIST POSITIONS are tailored to the needs of the organization and the ability and availability of the player. Please contact Karen for details.
WORK STUDY POSITIONS AND INTERNSHIPS
If you have federal work study funds, we can work with your school. Internships are unpaid and must be coordinated with an academic institution.
Applications are accepted year round on a rolling basis with a three-month minimum commitment. Availability during standard business hours is desired but much of the work is project based and on your schedule. Demonstrated skill base and experience with arts organizations is a plus.
